This cooktop looks really nice and sleek. Mine has a defect and has to be replaced as bubbles appeared beneath the glass on one of the burners. The downdraft fan works very well and isnt too noisy. Only downside is that it takes a while to cool down and despite a red light indicating the surface is hot, you have to remember not to touchit or set anything on it. It does require fesidious cleaning to keep it sleek looking.

I bought this cooktop a month ago, not knowing what a fantastic model is is! I just needed to replace my old one and picked this Kitchenaid because it fit the opening in my granite countertop. Please know that I was never that into cooking; however, this cooktop is awesome! I have actually enjoyed preparing meals! Cooks & cleans up like a dream! I love the added features (melt, and burners that adjust to the pan size),
