Love the large capacity of the oven and that it has three racks. The bottom rack drops two inches to allow for the largest Thanksgiving turkey to fit. Three drawbacks to the stovetop: 1. you would need a screw driver to unfasten the stationary rings around the flame in order to clean them. 2. griddle doesn't provide uniform heating surface. 3. grates are heavy and awkward to remove for a quick surface clean.
