I was deciding between this product and another popular electric kettle that also makes the perfect temperature but has 6 presets instead of a digital display. I used the rival product in the past for ~3 years but was intrigued by the extra temperature options on this one. I was very happy with the mesh that prevents the water from sloshing out (rival product did not have this). The temperature presets are wonderful. In addition to tea I drink hot water by itself so great to have a 140 degree option. I have very hard water so scaling is always an issue but I followed the directions to use vinegar and it worked perfectly.
