Can barely boil water

this stove is complete garbage! for having a "fast boil" this stove has a really hard time boiling anything, even if i put a lid on it and even if i give it nearly boiling water from my tap. my cookware is mid-grade cutco so i know it's not that. the oven doesn't heat very well, and there's no real distinction between it's convection or non-convection options. what's more, the top of the stove is terribly difficult to clean if you accidentally spill starched water (from half-boiled noodles) on it. otherwise, the burners are on too hot and when i turn it down to low to simmer, the burner is still on...why? it should shut off and allow the pan to start cooling. don't buy it, waste of your money.

replaced a very old range. this one works great with only a few caveats - (1) the drawer need a handle or recess; (2) it can be confusing as to what is going on if both the timer and oven are being used simultaneously (maybe we'll get used to it). very happy with its performance. hidden bake element in oven slows down preheat a bit, but not a big deal. we're very happy with the range.
